The year is 2010 and the PTA at Don Brewer Elementary is excited to start a new recycling program.  We hope all of you have started to bring in your paper to be recycled in the "Big Yellow Recycle Bin" in the back of the school.  To help our teachers and students recycle in the classroom, PTA has placed a bin in every room. Please send in any plastic caps to your teacher as well to be recycled.  Members of the PTA board will go by each classroom twice a month to collect the paper and caps.  All money will go toward Don Brewer Elementary.  Take a look at our bulletin boards in the front office and upstairs by classroom 232 to learn of ways we can help our planet by recycling.  Each one of us can make a difference.  As our troops serve our country overseas we want to help them by collecting any used cell phones and their accessories to turned into calling cards.  Our brave soldiers and their families will be able to speak to each-other with our help.  This is one way we can show our appreciation for their sacrifice.
